We were fortunate to visit the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor because the memorial had just opened up again after many months or refurbishing. It commemorates the 1,177 young men who died on the Arizona in the Dec. 7th attack. Those men are still entombed in the ship under the memorial.
